Salary: £44,023 per annum (plus 5% overtime allowance)
The Port of London Authority (PLA) is currently recruiting an Operations and Project Manager to manage the routine maintenance of operational assets, managing fault repair and project implementation functions of the Navigation System Engineering Department, whilst ensuring minimum downtime of VTS operations, Radar sites, Communications systems etc. and that the PLA’s safety and environmental standards are maintained and improved.
The PLA are looking for an experienced service and compliance manager, educated to degree level or equivalent, with at least five years managerial experience in implementation/development/maintenance of navigational/communications system, project delivery or similar businesses. The job holder is required to demonstrate expert knowledge, application and control of resources to meet demands.
Hours of work for this role are 35 per week based around demand and activities ranging between 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday, plus obligation outside when necessary or demanded by activities or projects.
