THE SHIPYARD – SOURDOUGH PIZZA ON THE GO
Made fresh on site every day with properly sourced, seasonal ingredients our goal isn’t complicated: authentic food, cooked simply, and eaten well.
The Shipyard is so named because of the Thames long association with maritime trade and shipbuilding, and that it is also located in a maritime hub and sustainable construction centre.
One of the key principles we want to convey at the Shipyard is a sense of place, where we integrate ourselves into the fabric of the local community. We want our customers to feel a sense of ownership, a belonging, that the SHIPYARD is theirs, a second home. We want it to feel as if it has been there forever, we want it to have life – energy and heart.
At the Shipyard, we truly do care about our customers having a good time. We believe that our food should be accessible and available to as many people as possible and try to price our meals accordingly. We want to share our passion for food with them.
There’s no hiding, no secrets, just passion and enthusiasm, the way it should be.
